Oftentimes we attach the phrase being one with nature whenever we go out of town on tours that allow us to spend time with wonders of nature. More often than not, quiet moments, serenity, tranquility, soul searching and many more when "being one with nature" comes in our mind; but do we really get the real sense of being one with nature? Does going out on fields, mountains and beaches, really make you become one with nature? or have you ever thought of how you can really become one with nature?
It is odd that we have so little relationship with nature, with the insects and the leaping frog and the owl that hoots among the hills, calling for its mate. We never seem to have a feeling for all living things on the earth. If we could establish a deep abiding relationship with nature, we would never kill an animal for our appetite nor we would harm helpless creatures for our benefit. We would find other ways to heal our wounds and our bodies. But the healing of the mind is something totally different. That healing gradually takes place if you are with nature. Imagine how generous nature for you whenever you are in a dense forest. Look at the leaves, the grass, the trees. Listen to the resonating sounds of the buzzing insects like music to your ears, the rocks where the clear water splashes as it flows in the river. Feel them as they are alive as we are.
Collect those thoughts in your mind and put them altogether to form a virtual picture so clearly even when your eyes closed; then put yourself in that picture; raw, naked and nothing to hide. Nothing to be ashamed of. Nothing but peace of mind and confidence. That's when your mind and body start to connect with everything that surrounds you.
I do not know if you have discovered your relationship with nature. There is no ‘right’ relationship, only the understanding of relationship. Right relationship implies the acceptance of a formula, as does right thought. Right thought and right thinking are two different things. Right thought is merely conforming to what is respectable, whereas right thinking is the embodiment, it is the product of understanding. Understanding is constantly undergoing modification and change. Similarly, we thought that it is right to cover our bodies so not to violate or to conform with the morals of the society, whereas the truth is: the ONE nature that we are living in is completely bare and raw, so we must be completely uncovered from any covers too. We must bear in mind that only malice in our imaginations, build the thick barriers that close our minds and made us feel ashamed of our own selves. Inhibitions sets in when one's mind is full of malice and restraints. So free that body from those barriers and liberate your mind from inhibitions. At that stage, you will realize and feel that, your relationship with nature has begun to grow.

Nice
Nicely written philosophical piece. I would venture that most people have not taken the time to think along these lines. Thank you!
