Back to Serenity : Naturism alone

Some of you may think that naturism requires to be done in groups or with companions, but it is not. Naturism is an intimate connection to the natural environment where we all are in whether we have fellow naturists around us or we are on our own.

Have you ever felt that you do not belong to this society? That chaos and the rush makes it hard for you to breathe, to a point where the society makes you feel sick. Everyone points with each other and tells them what is wrong and what is right. No wonder why you feel like an outcast sometimes...But here, things are different.

For the longest time ever, I felt like, I need to do this - to unplug from my everyday life and just listen to myself; to the things I want to do; to other places I want to go and well...that's why I chose to be here. This surreal place where you don't feel the everyday stress; where you wouldn't hear everyone else complaining. It's just you and and the nature. And as you know, it is not always on your side due to the changing weather within the day.

Ironically, I feel more comfortable here than back in the city, because even a bad day of hiking is a day you will remember. It's hard to explain why I am so obsessed with it. It's beyond just the natural beauty. It's the feeling of being uninterrupted. It's the sound or the lack of it. It's the smell of the forest, the wind or the water. This really is a paradise for me.

Time is relative. It takes slower here. The days seems to drag on for longer. For me that meant more appreciation towards the little things. When you are back home, you never really look at where you live or the foods that you eat. Things just happened and I can see how someone can become ungrateful or unhappy, but when you are out here alone even for a few days, it's hard not to think about the comfort of your home, the warmth of a hug or even getting a shower. I see all of these things now, that I have never paid attention to before, which makes me want to spend more time here and ultimately makes me more grateful and more happy.

From a very young age, I had a fascination of spending time alone in nature naked, but it doesn't mean being sexual, sad or anxious. I enjoyed not being told of what to do. I like to create my own rules and be in this world, that only I can understand. I enjoyed the soft air caresses my naked body. I love the feeling of the cold waters run into my bare skin and I love when the sun rays warm my body after skinny dipping from the cold springs. At first I thought that there was something wrong with me - that it shouldn't be this way but the more I tried to fight it, the more I realize, that I need to embrace the unusual and just be myself.

So many of us may have ideas that may seem ludicrous to everyone; Ideas that are the complete opposite of what is considered normal. It's ironic for the world to always ask for anything new or original and at the same time reject anything that doesn't follow a common patterns or rules. The truth is that you are going to be judged either way; whether you live your life on your own terms or not.

They will call you QUIET because you are perfectly happy in silence; They will call you WEAK because you avoid conflicts and dramas; They will call you BORING for being not being an extrovert; They will call you WRONG for having different beliefs; They will call you a LONER because you are comfortable of being on your own; They will call you LOST for not following the same rules as others. Let them call you whatever they want. You don't have to play the part they want you to play.

Learn to listen to your inner self and flow with life. Be free and be honest with yourself. Go to that place where you can be your natural self, without expectations of how it should be. The most important thing is that you are not afraid to be vulnerable

Seek your own happiness without worrying what other people would say about you. Set your life free by welcoming what maybe uncomfortable or unpredictable, exploring this big blue planet in the middle of nowhere, driven by a grieving heart and the light for freedom. Create your own role and live.

After all a male naturist chooses to be one with nature and be free.
